little Mexico (port richmond)

Sure, the vacancy rate for stores on the avenue is at an all time low, but the residual is: Beaner blood and "mexi-puke". That's what I usually see Sun. mornings on port richmond ave. After a night of mucho cervazas, our locals here simply barf up and stab each other. Wonderful country to live in, Staten Island, don't you think? I have seen mexican gang graffiti for about 4-5 years now. There is an employment agency that hires day-laborers with little or no proof of residency needed. Some immigrants have told me they walked through the desert for 4 days to get into amerika...
Which make me wonder, if these dudes can get into the U.S. so easily, what of a terrorist?

I read a story on one of the SI Live forums that some father with his kids pulled up in his truck at Brothers to grab a slice and a handful of Mexicans started charging at them b/c they thought he was there to pick up day laborers. Daughter freaked out seeing so many Mexican men storming their truck.

I wonder what, in their culture, makes so many of them act this way.
When a Dominican/Puerto Rican family (did you know that the other Latino ethnicities all look down on the Mexicans?)warned me not to go out drinking in their neighorhood, I didn't believe them until I was on the receiving end of some mexican pick-up "techniques" which really reminded me a lot of stalking.

ooo! What are mexican pickup techniques? Sounds interesting but I don't want to find out first hand. Do they do that "psst-psst-psst-psst-pssst" thing like your a cat?

I take my dog walking down Port Richmond Ave. in the morning sometimes. If I see a group of men hanging out I pretend my dog is an attack dog and talk to him to be calm, be good, calm boy, when we walk past. The men always back up an never say anything b/c I think they believe my goofy dog would attack them at any provacation.

on top of asking me all kinds of personal questions, he followed me for twenty minutes and tried to see where I was working. I had to go out of my way to get away from the guy. The cab drivers tried to make me stay in the cab, promising to take me dancing in Manhattan instead. Right.

I lived in Port Richmond for 28 years and I have seen everything the Dealers, the Prostitutes,Bums, Aids victums,Gangs, and now there are 5x's more Mexicans in PR then 10 years ago...
I remember whenthe Port Richmond section of the Rail road had the saying "Port Richmond, It's Like Coming Home" But in honestly why would you want to come home to what PR has become...hell one time some one spray painted "Little Mexico" after the "Port Richmond, It's" part I laughed but it's the sad truth...
Im part of the last White family on the terrace end of PR it's mostly Mexican now...

And opens to door to WIC checks and welfare freebies! YAY for amerika!

You really might want to reconsider some of your words and be more specific in your ideas. As of now your comments are nothing but an inconsiderate, extremely racist rant. Imigrants must endure a lot to come here. They work extremly hard for little pay doing the work we are too lazy to do. Unfortunately their only escape is often drug and alcohol abuse to which your are refering. Perhaps you should do some voluteer work cleaning the streets and comunity outreach helping those who abuse alcohol instead of spreading vomitous hate.

I think that people with such limited and racist points of view could use some traveling experience beyond Staten Island or whatever island it is that they are too lazy to leave. Maybe it would improve other parts of their lives as well, such as mental health, happiness and creativity. If the immigrants can do it, surely you can, since you are SO superior.

beaner facts:
1.-I have been to mexico city, I've seen how they live. I know why they want to come here.

2.-I've lived, worked, played, and fucked mexicans...something 'racists' do not (and cannot do.)

3.-Oh, yeah, add shit to that "blood & vomit" list...last week I go to the corner and there's a steaming, fly-covered heap...that is most defintely NOT canine.

4.-I have seen "el drunkies" stop right where they staggered, in the middle of the stret, drop fly and pee, in full view of everyone.

5.-"little pay"?..pluh-leez. Some will not work for less than 100 dollars a day.

and finally....-I allow Anonymous comments, because I am SO superior!...

time to think positive:
Mexican businesses are good for port richmond. It's a lot better now than 25 years ago on the avenue.
I know MANY mexes that are god-fearing, family-oriented, educated, upstanding, loyal, friendly and trustworthy. As a matter of fact, MOST mexicans are that.
People- it was not my intent to foster any belief otherwise...please do not think that are all mexes are deadbeats...there are just as many from ALL races in NYC.
