NYC's newest film festival ARFF

Well, it took a few years since we batted around the idea of having a film festival here, but it's finally gonna happen! We are proud to announce The Aspect Ratio Film Festival! On october 19th (at the Nurnberger) we are having our 1st gathering, a "friend-raising" party.... Amazingly, we do have our fans at the SI ADvance! Thanks to Ben Johnson for his impeccable good taste, wisdom & foresight. This blurb (promoting our new DvD Box Set release) is from out local newspaper's AWE section. (thats' advance weekly entertainment) I love the part where he says: ...It's a totally politically incorrect hybrid of "Beavis & Butthead" meets "Mystery Science Theater 3000"...and "plenty of sex, gore and stuff blowing up". (...uuhhh....coool)
It's very rare when we get any press in our local paper (last time was over 3 years ago), so this is a welcome, refreshing change from their norm.

(now, if I can only get that "todd hill" film reviewer-dude to mention us..he seems bent on not only ignoring SI, but reviewing movies that never even play on the island!)
